Yoga That Feels Like Coming Home

Rishayoga is my signature approach to yoga. Born not from tradition alone, but from lived experience, emotional healing, and the deep belief that movement can be medicine.

I didn’t come to yoga as a naturally flexible person or a lifelong athlete. I came to it as someone struggling with my health, my weight, my mental state, my spirit. Yoga became the path that slowly brought me back to life. Over time, through study, personal practice, and teaching others, I created a method rooted in what I believe matters most: presence, precision, strength, softness, and joy.

Rishayoga is where discipline meets devotion. Where long, intentional holds meet breathwork and internal awareness. Where the body is honored, not pushed. And where every movement is a chance to come home to yourself.

What Makes Rishayoga Different?

It’s not about forcing the body into a shape—it’s about letting the shape reveal something within you.

Rishayoga blends:

Static holds that build deep isometric strength and endurance Restorative sequencing that calms the nervous system Core-centered work to create stability and confidence Functional flow to support your daily movement and posture Emotional presence to support not just your body, but your heart. I also incorporate mindful movements inspired by Tai Chi and Qigong, adding fluidity, breath awareness, and energetic balance to the practice.

Every class begins in stillness. Because I believe rest is a powerful starting point. Each pose holds meaning. Each breath counts.

Rishayoga is rich with personal symbolism:

🌻 The sunflower represents joy, resilience, and always turning toward the light—even after darkness.

This practice is for every body. You don’t need to be fit, flexible, or familiar with yoga. You just need a willingness to show up—for yourself.

The Benefits of Rishayoga

Physically: You’ll build real strength, better posture, mobility, and endurance.

Mentally: You’ll sharpen focus, regulate your stress response, and feel calmer.

Emotionally: You’ll reconnect with your inner safety, worth, and joy.

Energetically: You’ll feel more aligned, steady, and alive.

This isn’t performance.

This is presence.

This is practice.

This is Rishayoga.

Come move with me.

Come breathe.

Come home.
